Terms and Conditions – Automotive Window Tint Services
By scheduling an appointment or receiving services from our company, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clear expectations and protect both the customer and the service provider.
1. Service Agreement
By requesting automotive window tint services, the customer authorizes our technicians to install window tint film on the specified vehicle. The customer confirms that they have permission to authorize work on the vehicle.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept approved forms of payment at the time of service.
3. Deposits & Appointments
Some appointments may require a deposit to secure the scheduled time. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied toward a rescheduled appointment if the customer provides at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment time. Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in loss of deposit.
4. Tint Curing Period
After installation, window tint film requires a curing period, typically 3–7 days, depending on weather conditions. During this time, customers may notice water pockets, haze, or small distortions. These conditions are normal and will disappear as the film cures. Customers agree not to roll down tinted windows during the curing period.
5. Window Operation
Customers agree not to roll down or disturb tinted windows for 3–5 days after installation to allow the film to properly adhere. We are not responsible for damage caused by operating windows before the curing process is complete.
6. Pre-Existing Damage
We are not responsible for issues related to pre-existing conditions such as scratched glass, damaged seals, faulty window regulators, or malfunctioning rear defrosters. These conditions may affect tint installation or appearance.
7. Removal of Existing Tint
If a vehicle arrives with existing window tint, removal fees may apply. Removal of old film may expose previously hidden glass damage or defroster line damage. We are not responsible for damage caused by prior tint installations.
8. Legal Tint Limits
Window tint laws vary by state and local regulations. While we may provide general guidance, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the tint level selected complies with applicable laws. We are not responsible for citations, tickets, or penalties related to tint darkness chosen by the customer.
9. Warranty
If a warranty is offered on the tint film or installation, it applies only to manufacturer defects or installation issues such as peeling, bubbling, or adhesive failure. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper cleaning, or normal wear.
10. Refund Policy
Due to the custom nature of window tint installation, services are generally non-refundable once completed. If installation issues occur, we will inspect the vehicle and may repair or replace the affected film at our discretion.
11. Limitation of Liability
While we take every precaution to protect your vehicle, we are not liable for incidental or consequential damages beyond the cost of the services provided.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling an appointment or receiving service, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
